Golden Earth and Stone was founded by Joshua Pressman in 2010. His 20+ years of landscape and construction experience helps guide everything the company does. While currently a small business, Golden Earth and Stone can handle just about any size job. Josh has personally managed and installed award-winning residential projects as large as $1.4 million that were finished on time and on budget.

As a young man, Josh apprenticed with a fourth-generation European stonemason, who taught him Old World techniques for working with natural stone. Josh has completed trade school programs on the design and engineering of irrigation systems. He is highly knowledgeable about irrigation and drainage codes in counties throughout Northern California. He has also completed industry certified courses on landscape lighting design and installation. Josh is well versed in green building techniques, products and practices, and is an accomplished woodworker.

Through his many years of experience, Josh has worked with some true master garden designers who have helped him refine his selection and planting technique. He constantly strives to stay abreast of the latest industry standards for plants and soils.
